There is a growing problem between a close friend of mine and me. She's really cold towards me lately. I thought she was cool with me hanging out with another group and stuff. I really thought that there was no problem and here I am blogging it away.

Has she misunderstood something?

Perhaps she sees differently from what I feel?

Or is she feeling jealous like what I felt when she started paying more attention to Stan?

My other friends are already tired of us. It's the same drama all over again. A few of them even said that I'm executing revenge on what she had unintentionally done to me but I don't really see it that way. I just wanted new friends. I didn't want to depend on her too much - that if she went and totally left me, I'd want to die. (I know, I know...emo right?)

FOR ONCE, I DECIDE TO SAVE MYSELF and here the circumstances given and I'm the one to bear the weight of the fault. I deserve it.

I just hope she won't give up on me and our friendship.

The Embassy of Japan invites J-Pop and Anime fans to participate in the J-Pop Anime Singing Competition, in celebration of the 2009 Philippines-Japan Friendship Month.

The Singing Competition is open to all Filipino amateur singing groups composed of three to ten members. Application forms are available at the Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC) Library, Embassy of Japan , 2627 Roxas Boulevard , Pasay City or can be downloaded at www.ph.emb-japan.go.jp .

A duly accomplished application form along with a CD or cassette tape demo of the participant's rendition of two (2) Japanese songs can be hand-carried or mailed to the JICC Library. Registration starts on February 9, 2009 and ends on April 20, 2009 .

The ten (10) best groups who pass the screening process would be invited to perform in the J-Pop Anime Singing Competition Grand Final, scheduled to be held on July 25, 2009 at the Activity Center of Market! Market!. The competing groups will perform one (1) Japanese song popularized in anime or J-Pop. Embassy of Japan Certificates and Japanese Language Scholarships from the Nihongo Center Foundation await the top three winners.

The J-Pop and Anime Singing Competition is co-organized by the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Foundation Manila in partnership with HERO TV, TOEI Philippines, Inc., Max FM103.5, Ayala Malls Market! Market! and Nihongo Center Foundation.

The J-Pop Anime Singing Competition aims to further promote appreciation of the Japanese language and culture among Filipinos and to strengthen the long-standing friendship between Japan and the Philippines .

Lately, I've been feeling kind of funny. If my memory serves me right, it started around the second week of July. My heart suddenly starts racing to the point wherein I feel a twinge of pain. Added to that, I'm not sure whether it's only an emotional twinge or a physical one. After a week of experiencing this, I started to worry about it. At first, I had a suspicion that it was hypertension, so I looked it up over the net. What surprised me was that, the symptoms were far from what I'm experiencing. I consulted a few friends about this and although a lot of their opinions varied (and some were utterly impossible too) , a common response surfaced - Stress.

That goes without any doubt. Stress really is, if not the strongest, one of the strongest factors affecting my physical condition. Maybe it's because I'm such a worry-wart. I worry about a lot of things - my family, my friends, my studies, the environment, etc. So I went and searched about excessive worrying and guess what? I found out about Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). I showed a few of the early symptoms - restlessness, irritability, chronic fatigue and difficultly in concentration. If this kind of feeling continued for a few weeks more - most likely, I have it.

I've been a worry-wart ever since I was a child. Perhaps I should let go of a few, unnecessary things. I'd like to be worry-free once-in-a-while, but wouldn't it break me?

Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus Big Winner

The Promdi Hottie of Mindoro, Ejay Falcon has just been declared the big winner last night at the Araneta Coliseum.

Beauty of Mindoro was the first of the Big Four to step out onto the stage. She garnered 10.91% of votes - that is 186,523 of the total. Nicole followed with 18.39% of votes - that is 314, 582 of the total. And with a difference of 32, 818 votes, Robi Domingo was placed as the runner-up. He garnered 34.39% of the total votes - that is 588, 116 of the total while Ejay secured the win with 36.31% or 620,934 votes.

To bad, Mom and I really wanted to Robi to win. I still believe that he's one of the many inspiring models for the youth generation today. Anyway, it's okay for me that Ejay won. It's just that I really prefer Robi's personality over him.

Kudos to the all who participated in this season~! It's definitely a PLUS.

Akala ko kasi nung una parang charity show siya na nagpapanalo ng mga mahihirap pero tuluyang nabago ang isip ko nang mabalitaan ko ang pagkapanalo ni Kim Chiu at Mikee Lee nung last Teen Edition. Karakter pala talaga ang basehan ng social experiment na ito.

Last May 21, America hailed another talented artist on their renowned music talent search program, American Idol. David Cook, a twenty-five year old bartender, won the contest by earning 56% of America's love - beating David Archuleta by 12 milllion votes. So far, American Idol season 7 has been the most eye-catching of all. This is proven by the new world record set by the season of having 97 million votees.

Anyway, congratulations to David Cook and kudos to all who participated this season. To those who didn't make it to spotlight, don't give up~!

A friend from EAC gave me a picture of my crush, Ninomiya Kazunari of Arashi, this morning. I was really grateful and not to mention delighted by the present. *GLEAMING EYES* It's currently past 10 but I really wanted to blog. Hmm...if my memory serves me right, I haven't typed about my LITTLE (I'm emphasizing on it) crush on Kazu-chan(Back off pal! That's what I call him). Then, let me start off...

It all started when I saw a music video of Arashi on Animax. I believe it was the "Hero" single, if not the"Hitomi no naka no Galaxy" single. Anyway, moving on, I never really noticed him. It was Ohno that I noticed. You see, whenever I'm interested in something, I research and that's how I came to find Kazu-chan! I was attracted to his name; it's the same name as my older brother living in Japan. Someday, I'd like to meet him and of course my onii-chan too.

MAGDALO Interview

Last Thursday, I got the news from my classmates that I passed the MAGDALO examination. I was at the library then and I was reviewing (and teaching RJ and Lanekar) the assignment that my Computer lecture teacher told us to do . Funny, I didn't find them believable at first; usually at times like that, I'm bound to be heaping jolly already. As I was saying, they said that I passed the exam and I even garnered 108.8, taking the place of #12 in the rankings. After that, I entered the MAGDALO's office and checked it myself. Guess what? It was true. But, it was no time to be celebrating yet. I have yet to face the interview which was by the way, conducted TODAY.

Hey~! What can a freshman of little experience do? PANIC, of course. I wasn't at all prepared when they said that the interview would be today. Self-esteem wasn't on my side either. Yesterday, my grandmother received a phone call from school, saying that an interview will be conducted the next day and attendance of 'her granddaughter' is a must. They said that it would be conducted at exactly 8:00 am but when I got to there office, they said that it would be 2:00 pm. So, I just went to the venue of the interview directly. Boy, was it creepy! It felt like the lights would suddenly go off and some unknown creature would appear in front of my face. I couldn't take the aura. It was way too quiet for me, so, I went down the canteen along with my friend, Angel.

I went back about five minutes before 2 and I was glad that I did. I happen to meet a friend. Encar is her name. Seems pretty cute, don't you think? Anyway, I was the 3rd one to be interviewed. They asked me personal questions, like what was my graduating grade, my previous school, the history of my surname and my confidence in my abilities. On those parts, I'm quite sure that I happen to give out decent and polite answers ( of course, those are my ideas itself). But, I'm not so sure when they asked me about my view of the country's system of government. It seems that the question itself was easy but scooping a good answer was a little low. I answered as naturally and as bold as I can. All in all, I think it went fine. I don't expect to be chosen but if ever I were, I'll give it my best shot. They won't regret picking me. That, I'm sure about.

Adventure in Manila

Steph and I went wanted to ride an FX this day. So, we walked along Padre Faura street until we reached Roxas Boulevard. We waited a long time in front of the US Embassy but there were no FX. As if luck was taking a break we walked further down to Kalaw Avenue and we waited in front of the "Museong Pambata". At that time, I was having some kind of 'topak' and I was reading every signboard I saw like a radio personality or something. Even though I was like a fool, I was glad that I entertained my company. Continuing our mini-adventure, we walked further down to Rizal Park/Quirino Grandstand. Still, there weren't any FX. And so we decided to go back to Kalaw Avenue and we rode an FX(going Lawton) to SM Manila where we waited for a few minutes in line for an FX going to Sucat. In the end, we rode a jeepney going to Baclaran where we rode another jeepney, going Sucat. I got home about 9:00pm (Don't imitate me. Going home that late is bad.)

It was tiring but I found our adventure fun. Next time, I hope we can do it with our other classmates. That'll be fun~!

MAGDALO seminar

Today, I attended the seminar of MAGDALO (The official publication of Emilio Aguinaldo College. I seem to have jumbled up my schedule. Oh boy...I'm in a fix. It think I would have to turn down my job application in MINI STOP GATCHALIAN BRANCH. Come to think of it maybe I won't even get the job because I have a very tight schedule but I guess that it's better than doing nothing at home. Maybe they'll reconsider having me for semester's break. Anyway, as I was saying, I attended the seminar and it was quite fun. Although, I haven't really attended fully, I still had a grasp of the subject that they were talking about. Mr. Santiago inspired me a lot. I hope that I will get to pass the test on July 7, Saturday because I would like to establish a connection with him. It would be an incredible experience.

Miss Universe 2007

I've just watched the "LIVE" coverage of the Miss Universe 2007. Unfortunately, our Miss Philippines didn't pass the first round but hey! She won the Miss Photogenic Title. It's better to have a title than none at all, right? Anyway, when the 15 candidates where picked I voted for Japan (since I'm half their race, well actually three-fourths) and ofcourse Korea because she's Asian too (and let's not forget her cute dimples). And guess what! Miss Japan won the title. *Teehee* My sister and I pick the best. Although at first I thought that Brazil would bag the win because her answer was pretty good. Miss Brazil's speech about having the equilibrium between your heart and mind was a really great answer. But I guess Miss Japan's speech about passing down the passion for dancing to the next generation is what made her win.

Congratulations to all the Miss Universe candidates and winners and especially to the newly-crowned Miss Universe 2007, Miss Riyo Mori!!! May all of you do a great job this year. I'll do my best too!

National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE)

Last Wednesday, all HIGHSCHOOL campuses in the Philippines held the "National Career Assessment Examination"(NCAE). I heard from past highschool students (my mom and other relatives) that it was a test taken nationally by all highschool students to know their suited career in college. It was a funny thing though, the fact that they abolished that EXAM years ago, if I remember it well. Anyway, it was not at all hard. Infact the test reviews that our school gave us were way harder. I was really surprised at the MATH questions. They were pretty easy compared to the previous College Entrance Exams that I have taken.

I hope that we can all pass the exam or else we'll end up in vocational courses.

Melanie Avila's 2nd Death Anniversary

Today, I went to my bestfriend's grave along with Melody. Boy! Was it messy! Doesn't anyone clean her grave? Come to think of it, the grave was locked. So I guess even if someone had wanted to clean the place, they couldn't. If only the grave wasn't locked, then we could've tidy up the place. Melody and I bought flowers. To be able to put the flowers inside, I had to climb the fence. It was a little hard though, because I was in uniform and my skirt was slowing me down.

Today, I have realized (well, actually it was the start of the new year) that my grief has yet to be gone. I decided to be a loner for a while; so that when I face my friends, I will be able to smile at them without remembering what had happened to Mela. I think it is only fair for me to suffer for a while. After I have taken deep thought about how I treated them for the past 2 years, I have realized that behind the sweet smile was the sadness that only a few can read. It's injustice in my eyes! My friends try so hard to keep me smiling and here I am showing them fake smiles. I think that they would really want to see MY REAL SMILE. The smile with NO DOUBT, HIDDEN SORROW nor HYPOCRISY. Soon...I will get over this...I know.

ATTENTION!!! TO ALL WISDOM PEOPLE and SENIORS!!!
This past few months, we have been through the most tiresome schedule we have ever faced before. Luckily, all has passed and welcome holidays!!! *woohoo~!*

First of all, update for my blog. I found a very cute layout and apparently I couldn't help changing my current layout. SO Kawaii~!!! And most of all there is lots of teddy bears~ =P

Second, I'll probably start writing for my fanfiction account by next year (am so bad...) Hey! Some mind needs some rest. I've been tired of reviewing and arranging the school newspaper. Actually, most of the labor (well at least 65% of it) was done by Lester Nubla (pakner~! ang galing natin heehee... =P). All the hardwork and haggard moments paid off. I've been exempted in Creative Writing and Values. Luckily for my partner he got exempted not only in CW and Values but also in Economics. Well, I most certainly think he deserved it.

Lastly, I'd like to say "Thanks" to Wisdom-guys. I really had fun during the Christmas Party. I just hope that we will be abe to laugh it all off when we graduate.

After 2 days of torturing computations (well, most of our tests were computations) and sleepless nights of reviewing (as if I'm that serious reviewing), we have finally finished our exams!!! Yippee~! I can't wait till next week. Yatta! Yatta! Field trip!!! I just hope it goes fine because we don't want dissapoinments now, do we? Then again, we can't really predict anything. So we just have to pray for good weather and safe trip.

Okay, back to the topic. The exams were pretty hard but I know we'll get through to it. I'll just wish that I don't have a low grade (especially my physics). And I also hope that I have some insentive when I played against the other schools during PSAP. Oh well...I guess we'll have to resort to 'that' if things get out of hand.

student council election campaign

Last Thursday, we had a campaign for the student council election which will be held on Monday, 24th of July 2006. We have 2 major parties. One is the "ASTIG" party which I forgot the meaning & of course the "ECHO" PARTY which means "Empower Lyceeans to Comment & Complement. Heave our school Objectives". By the way, I'm running for 'Representative' for the Senior Level. It was my first itme so I had no confidence in myself. You guys even laughed at me when I promoted myself..err...I mean when I demoted myself. Hey! It's my first time so I son't know that you really, really had to promote yourself. I truly dislike politics that's why I didn't want to be like them or worse, speak like them. I expected the campaign to go smoothly but I was dead wrong. All was going well until we reached the last classroom to campaign in. They were totally disrespectful. You know what they did? They denigrated our ECHO PARTY Candidate for Presidency. You know what's the most hurtful part of what happened, the teacher didn't even scold them for showing such rotten attitudes. SHE even laughed along with them. All I could do was answer one stupid question asked by one of the students. They really pissed me off but I won't fight by brute force & immoral acts. I will fight by showing I have ethics not like them. Well, that's all for now! Jaa!

I've only passed the UPCAT forms since the other forms are not yet due. Umm...you can say that its a bad habit to wait for the due date but actually..................................................

Okay! I greeted my mom mother's day a week early. The banner at the mall says that Mother's Day is May 14 but I thought it was May 7, the first Sunday of May. But anyway, vacation is ending soon & the first day of school is nearing. Waah! I haven't learn to play tennis yet. I keep hitting the ball out the court, but this morning I think (well besides from my SUPER FUNNY shots that made my sister & my cousin's stomach twist) I've improved a little. It's really hard because I keep swinging the tennis racquet like a badminton racket (which apparently makes a crazy shot). Now I know that there's a big difference between the 2 sports. It was really fun to play & hit the ball!

I love to play & I hope I learn because I'm really determined to learn.

Yesterday, we went to BAYWALK, Manila. It was really fun!!! There were bright lights everywhere, talented bands and… AND LIVING STATUES!!! I really like the statues. If you put money in the container they will move, here’s the deal if you put more money in it they will move longer. *yippee!!* It was really great. Oh! And there was also the band “Color It Red” the vocalist was a woman they call “Cookie Chua”. Is she really that popular? Because my uncle says so. But one thing’s for sure she has a very pretty voice. *uh..huh!* Before we went to BAYWALK we went to Luneta park to eat first. I saw the stars…they were very pretty. And I think I’ll appreciate it more if there were no lights. Anyway, it was a fun experience. And actually it was my second time there. It was really fun!!!

funny? but i feel empty on my b-day. im really glad that you guys greeted me and im really touched coz u guys greeted me with a smile. i guess the problem's all in my head, but i still feel empty... i need someone to be by my side and see through what im suffering from. iwant to say that it hurts but it just won't come out, im afraid to be alone...no one to listen ...help ! i need someone...
